Lathe Turning
Lathe turning is the most common type of CNC turning and is used to produce cylindrical parts. It is a relatively simple process in which the cutting tool is held and rotated by the cutting head, and the cutting head is moved along the X and Z axes to produce the desired shape and size of the part.
Multi-Axis Turning
Multi-axis turning is a more complex form of CNC turning in which the cutting head is able to move along all three axes. This allows for more complex shapes and sizes to be produced, and it is often used in the automotive and medical industries to produce components with exact specifications.
